Patrick began his career in 2005 installing and maintaining residential electrical systems. When the housing market collapsed in 2008 he joined the IBEW and began a 4 year apprenticeship program to become a Journeyman Wireman.
After completing the apprenticeship 2nd in his class he proceeded to work on various projects at Ft. Benning Georgia and a 40 million dollar natural gas conversion project for Georgia Power at one of their coal burning power plants. While there, Patrick was recruited by Georgia Power to work with the commissioning team to start up and test the new system due to the vital roles he played during the installation.
Patrick moved on to become a Foreman for Cleveland Electric and led multiple crews during the installation of a 120 Megawatt solar array for Southern Company and a 800,000 sq ft. Google data center. He also spent time working on the Landslide Modernization project at Hartsfield Jackson Airport until he was offered a position with PVI.
In February of 2017 he joined PVI working as a Project Manager and Electrical Foreman leading his coworkers while successfully completing numerous UPS installations, Data center expansions, Building Automation systems, HVAC and AC/DC system upgrades for the 24x7 Mission Critical Industry. He has also led the installation of multiple EV charging stations for Electrify America.
