A few words about PVI

PVI was founded in 1989 as a General Contracting firm that focused on technical spaces such as Data Centers, Control Rooms and IT laboratories. Bern Gallagher, P.E., PMP, the present President of PVI, purchased the company in 2014. Mr. Gallagher added infrastructure equipment (Switchgear, UPS, DC Plants, generators) sales, installation and his electrical engineering to PVI’s corporate skill set. Using a design, build and maintain model, the company sees itself as an extension of the customers we support in philosophy and in practice. Our employees and team members always act in our customers’ best interest while striving to exceed expectations. We make it a matter of course to learn our customers’ historical lessons, processes and business models. As a result, our execution directly facilitates our customers meeting their key tactical and strategic goals.

PVI is staffed with a talented, well trained group of dedicated team members. PVI provides services of planning, design, build and maintenance for the 7x24 mission critical industry. Working within the client’s existing OEM relationships, PVI will seek solutions that will utilize the client’s existing infrastructure and expand on it. The design techniques chosen are intended to be the least disruptive to the client’s existing operations yet still meet the client’s current and long term future needs. With extensive experience working in 7x24 environments, PVI will use when possible the client’s maintenance windows, write MOPs, and closely manage the execution of the project build. PVI performs maintenance for multiple Fortune 50 companies, in the areas of electrical switchgear, DC plants, UPS, generator, ATS, chiller plants and critical HVAC. Together our nearly 100 employees help us tackle any electrical installation, controls project, building of technical spaces (Data Centers, control rooms, training centers, labs), and great rooms (exhibits, museums, universities).
